There is another side to all this as well

It's about attracting a major sponsor and keeping all the other smaller ones as well

I don't why you are addressing this to me mate I didn't mention any followup article or anybody being arrested. I think you have the wrong man.

Forget sponsors at this rate we'll be the ones making room for the Central Coast side.

Where is the proof that Mason has anything to do with the bad culture at the club???
I don't see him encouraging these wankers to pick up knives & attack their loved ones!!
I don't see him outside pubs attacking female cops!!!
I didn't see him in a brawl after someone threw ice!!!

the central coast side will be the storm,do you really think they will survive once news pull the plug.news got what they wanted, they have the pay tv rights, why the fark would they waste any more money on the storm,we are headed for the american system where the owner can relocate the team to where ever the profit is.

You are in your own little dream world.

The lack of discipline started with him.

It will end with him going as well.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, who doesn't toe Smith's line and all those who have publicly brought shame to the club since the Myles defecation incident. Personally I don't care if the Roosters get another spoon in 2010 IF I see genuine moves towards restoring the club's reputation both on and off the field that will ultimately lead to much better days.

                        Correct. He is in dreamland.

                          Willie Mason
                          Nate Myles
                          Jake Friend
                          Anthony Cherrington
                          Stanley Waqa
                          Setaimata Sa

I don't care how important the players are to the club. We already know Cherrington is our most talented young forwards, Myles is our future pack leader, Friend will be our long-term hooker, Mason is our only experienced forward, Waqa is a handy bench prop and Sa has undoubted potential. But we need to set the precedent - if you do the crime, you do the time, no matter who you are.

Willie Mason is the one I'd go for. Great player on his day but it's the attitude that needs to be dealt with.
