the bunch of players are a joke and i'd like to take a knife to at least half of them. But i think i can see the clubs dilemma at the moment. i just hope someone inside our place brokers a way out of this stand-off instead of leaning against excuses.

since rlpa changed ceo's from an ex-player to a lawyer, there has been a furious push back on the termination clauses in players contracts. the rlpa is now side by side with managers pushing for the club to keep the players in the team.

i'm not making excuses, but i am empathetic with the new environment that Noyce finds himself in.

I too just want to get these idiot kids out of my club.

even in this enviroment, i'd prefer that Noyce be public about this problem - tell everyone that the RLPA is demanding we not exercise termination clauses for knife wielding kids, and see where the cards fall.

I for one don't doubt Tobin knows much about our club - putting aside that he had no idea about O'Meley being released weeks after it happened

What is amusing is getting on the Wall and harping on about "Massive news" in May which can't be revealed till end of the year and then, when asked about it by a Wallster at the end of the season, he does not want to reveal it and refuses to post on the wall.

That's all his choice and I have no doubt he had inside info. But if he did not want to reveal it, why post in the beginning? And if his info proved wrong, why not simply say so. No dramas there as things change and what was right when told may ultimately not be the case

As I have said, no doubt he has reliable info. I just dont get why someone gets on a club site, broadcasts to members he has info which he cant reveal until end of season, then refuses to do so when season ends.

If he wanted to share it with people he trusts, why tell all to begin with? If the info was wrong, as all know things change or develop, then simply say so. No one should be naive to think that info can't be wrong, or matters develop to the point where info that was right in May is no longer right in Oct.
