    Yeah Pearce's was a disgrace!!!!!

That guy stayed down and the when they said "penalty" he got straight up!!!

I was thinking "hmmmm big islander guy just got hit by little Pearce... no offence but get up you pussy, there's no way that hurt!!"

As soon as I saw it was Catai I said he will score in this set, he does this shit every week.

I believe he got over the line at the end of the set only to miss the ball when Mini decided to kick at their heads.

I'm positive it's a ploy womanly use. The Catai injury that either draws the penalty and/or makes the defence rest momentarily seeing an injured player with a trainer. Then he jumps up with a miraculous recovery to nab points.

      Womanly gamesmanship.

The only thing now is they've been at the same ploy for so many seasons everyone should be ready for it.

LOL The head kick has justice!

But agreed, calls like that can be game changers.

The big thing that I pull from this is that not only have we beaten Manly but in 2 of the 3 games unfair refs decisions gifted Manly the game... and they still lost.

To me a sign of a good team is one that can grt ripped off by bad decisions and still win.

I hate how the commentators are always commending him for playing on with his shoulder, when in reality he's just a weak ****.

Mini was very lucky. If he'd have actually hit one of those blokes, and it looked like he was a bees dick from doing so, he'd have surely felt the wrath of 5000 unpunished Slater kicks to players heads.

Hopefully the fact he missed means the matter goes no further.

But yeah Jism, we have an amazing ability to defend mistakes and fair or unfair penalties. Womanly had everything possible go their way last night but we just wouldn't crack.

              Amazing effort.

I thought there was at least 2 Manly tackles as high as Pearce's was, that went unpunished.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

I reckon Mini had every right to kick the ball, it was on the ground, he wasn't trying to kick it out of an attackers hands.

There was one near the death on Tupou that was begging for a whistle.

Most of us agree we don't get many 50/50s but rest assured the channel 9 boys will let everyone know when we do. Bloody Gus last night with the mini knock one line dropout situation carried on & on saying this should be first tackle on the line not 40 metres & when watmough knocks it on the very next tackle he says "see what happens see that". Weather he drops it 35 metres out or 5 metres out he still lost it.

absolutely. While we do give away too many penalties, its the ones we don't get that frustrate me.

Seems Gould had his cash on a Manly win last night

Indeed, Gus and Rabs went for 5 mins about how it should have been a scrum not a drop out, yet in a massive **** up from the refs where the Sharks scored on the 7th tackle and where knocked out of the comp for it, they briefly touch upon it.

Great effort for sure but last night Manly brought their defencive game but someone forgot their attacking game. Near the end when time was running out where was that last desperate set play that is saved for when you need to score? ...all i saw was desperation caused by our defence...getting in each others way, dumb hail mary offloads. They looked good coming out of their own half but near our line had nothing but lets not forget we only managed 4 pts also. I think though with a better share of possession we would have scored more

3 swinging arms in tackles by Manly last night...our players should've stayed down.
Pearce also tackled high by Chery-Evans, he should've stayed down.

Saw another 10 things Manly players could've been penalised for during the match, but weren't, ...as usual.
Much the same things we were penalised for.

Sure looked like more biased at best refereeing against us in the match last night.

Cowboys were ripped off again, same as last year.
                                Either by incompetence or design.

Rumour has it Smith went to the Cowboys dressing room to apologise for the 7th tackle try...and was torn strips off.

He should suffer the same fate if he ever comes anywhere near our dressing room.
