Our attack ... any concerns?

There's a slight overreaction in this thread.

I'm not concerned about our structures or ability in attack, merely our composure.

We barely completed a set in their 20 because we were desperate to push the pass.

I know after the game Robbo was disappointed with our attacking game.

I just hope we show more patience vs the Storm.

Thursthead is a self interested QLD carnt who like most players who will chuck a tanty when it suits.

Cos I didn't hear that bullshit out of his mouth last year when NSW were ripped off in that Origin series.

How he wasn't fined and Henry is beyond reason.

Reffs will make errors. That particular one came in the first 1/2. The players didnt even know about it, as didnt anyone other than Paul Bowman, the bean counter. The Cowplods had plenty of chances to win that game and weren't quite good enough. Period.

Mate I hate Reffs as much as anyone but the old seven tackle error has been with us since limited tackle footy. IMO it doesn't help with the zero tackle call these days.

In fact did anyone check if that was a zero tackle set??? Probably not since the Reffs have been stood down, but one could see how an error could occur in the madness of a game with the rules as they are.

If the commentators hadn't been told about it, thru Bowman I believe, NO ONE would've noticed.

It's no different to ANY bad call that goes with and against ALL sides at some point. I do admitt we sit on one extreme and Souffs sit on another with the good and bad calls but it hasn't affected the boys. And that's all I give a shit about.

Toovey was spot on when he called for an investigation into what was going on!! Shane Flanagan came out and backed Toovey.

I can gaurantee you if you asked Robbo if we are being given a rough deal he will certainly say so. To Robbo's credit he is like a Jedi master, with amazing self control otherwise he would be doing what Toovey does! He has mentioned a few things in his press conferences but always while keeping his cool and not going over board. I have seen him go off a bit in the coaches box when we are given one of our rare penalties. One time he bashed on the window and shouted out f**king finally! Do you think he is doing this for the good of his health, or for no particular reason??? He is doing this because even he gets extremely frustrated with the bull$hit that he witnesses!!

I personally know a player manager who fills me in with what he thinks and hears, which is along the same lines of what I say in here!

Tommy, i agree. At times in attack the team gets a bit frantic as if they MUST score. The Roosters don't lack confidence but they must play with composure.

Fair is fair mate, if you disagree with me that's fine, go about it in a decent way and I will be decent back. Stsae is the perfect example when it comes to myself. He and I have often disagreed over the past two years but we go about it in a respectful decent manner. I always welcome a good honest debate with someone. Imo we are 'the' best team in the comp and the only thing that can stop us from winning the comp is being cheated out of it by the refs, video refs and judiciary. And it is not through lack of trying that these 3 factors are trying to prevent us from doing it!! I want to make enough noise on here to try and prevent this cheating crap from happening. It is a 'fact' that the media come on here and read what is being said on the chookpen. I want to put pressure on these cheating c**ts and let them know that we know what is going on!!

I certainly don't want to get ahead of myself, but I do get the impression that some think we are already over the line. They severely underestimate the very real danger of us being cheated out of what should be our premiership, as we are 'the' best team in the competition this year, and the only thing that can prevent us from winning the premiership is being cheated from it!

This sort of $hit can and has happened before! The dragqueens were the beneficiaries of some huge favors in the 2010 GF, and as an another example you just have to ask Arthur Summons about how they (Wests) were cheated out of winning the 1963 GF against the dragqueens by bastard refereeing! The NRL is a sport, there is a long history of sports being fixed, why is the NRL any different?? It is not immune from it!!
