The penalties didn't stop us in 2010 achieving good results and they're not stopping us this year. The other four years we were that bad. So what's the difference in results over the six years. Rosters and players performing.

Nobody knows the explanation for these stats which clearly lie outside any normal distribution curve. I don't think there is any conspiracy. but I am convinced you have no idea what you're talking about and probably just thrive on receiving negative attention for your annoying, arrogant and flawed argument.

Then why all the outrageous claims of corruption and conspiracy on here? You have been more than vocal in going on about refs at every possible chance, hijacking threads with your anti ref sentiments. You can't join a thread without some comment about biased refs etc.

Ching ching.. but you have what is the motivation of the person who writes them.. I remember Freddy saying after he was coaching us that one day he found a tip sheet for one of games and he was horrified, basically it was like this,

1) Watch Martin Kennedy closely in the ruck for holding the tackled player down
2) Shaun Kenny-Dowall never gets back the 10. Keep a close eye on him.
3) Jake Friend throws a lot of forward passes from dummy half.. Watch his passes closely.
4) Lopini Paea often tackles opposition players high, make sure he doesn't get away with it.

there was not one thing about the opposition players, every tip was telling the refs to focus on Roosters players. So the ref probably has no intention of favouring one team over the other but they want to make sure their boss is happy with the way the game is controlled and that means focussing exactly on what they are being asked to do.. Why they are only being asked to referee one side is anyone's guess but no one could question that this ensures a biased outcome.

Talk about other teams all you want. For the majority of the period that's being highlighted I watched roosters play ill disciplined, inexperienced and inconsistent football where they frequently were blowing harder than the other team, or the other team finished stronger than them. They're my observations. What are your observations of the roosters over last six years? 2010 and this year go against the norm because we have a better roster whose ability and application allow them to succeed regardless of penalties.

I would say , as far as performance goes it's been one extreme to the other. Different rosters, different coaches, Ill discipline(supposed) is the only constant.

When you don't play the team that gives out the most penalties [ the team that gives the fewest penalties] you will end up receiving less penalties...

An alternate theory would be referees are influenced by lighter colours - look at Cronulla. It would be interesting to know the penalty count when we wear our white jersey compared to when we wear our blue jersey.

Actually this is not a theory it is fact which originates from a psychologist that noticed when he walked his black and golden labs that people would usually patt the golden lab rather than the black one. He went on to study this and prove that it occurred due to people perceiving the dark one negatively. From this study a doctor then looked reterospectively at penalty counts of soccer teams specifically when light colours team vs darker colored teams and found that the lighter teams received more penalties and conceded less (in short). There have also been a few other studies like home team advantage etc

I have had a tremendous laugh at madrooters pathetic attempts at trying to explain why we give away all these penalties and why we get SFA penalties in return over all these years!!

madrooter really must love the feeling of having his head in the sand while being bent over and mercilessly violated, which happens to our great club all the bloody time!! Ignorance is bliss!!

Its not just the penalties, but also the match scheduling and judiciary.

$ouff$ are given Friday after Friday after Friday after Friday after Friday etc etc etc... It's a massive bull$hit advantage!! The NRL new that when doing the back section of the draw there was a good chance of it being a playoff for the minor premiership. They then proceed to have us play the Sunday before backing up on the Friday giving a short turnaround which is a distinct disadvantage and after $ouff$ had already had a heap of Friday nights in a row. In the lead up to the finals our schedule is all over the place so that we are unable to get into any rhythm unlike $ouff$!

During this long run of Friday nights for $ouff$ they have played many teams coming off a short turnaround which is big advantage for $ouff$!!

Then you have the judiciary. Lima only given 1 week for a disgusting leg twist. $am burge$$ given the lightest sentence possible for a despicable act of a squirrel grip. $am burge$$ getting off eye gouging. 2 $ouff$ players getting away with doing cannon ball tackles on players and injuring them, one was Ryan Hinchcliffe and the other was Alex McKinnon and nothing was said about either incident. $am burge$$ nearly taking billy slaters head off in Melbourne, nothing said about it. $am burge$$ doing a shocking crusher tackle on Andrew Fafita and getting only 1 week for it.

Then for the Roosters JWH does an act which wasn't even as bad as ben pomeroy's and yet JWH gets suspended and pomeroy let off. LOD gets 3 weeks for a player doing a cartwheel and yet krisnan inu drops ingli$$ vertically and directly on his head in one of the worst spear tackles I have seen and gets only 1 more week than what LOD got. SBW does exactly the same thing as Ashton Sims and yet SBW gets twice as harsh grading. sean garlick is on the judiciary panel and it is well known that he is a $ouff$ man through and through and hates the Roosters with a vengeance after a bad split cause a former Roosters player had his way with his Mrs. Who the hell appointed the $hithouse pie maker with obvious bias??

Then there is all the video ref decisions that have gone $ouff$ way. Both games against manly the video ref won the game for $ouff$ with Jeff Toovey blowing up deluxe after one of the games. The cowboys were robbed by the video ref when playing $ouff$ in Sydney. The storm were robbed against $ouff$ 1st week of the finals. Then there was the funny incident in Townsville where Linnett went in for a possible try with the ref sending up stairs saying that he thinks that it is a try. All the replays showed no reason at all as to disagree with the original decision and yet the video ref said no try when the rules are very clear that if the replays show no reason to disagree with the original ref decision than the original decision stands. Work that bull$hit out??

Then you get this convenient timing of these drug allegations about two of our players to try and put us off our game.

Our whole point is to bring this stuff to light which happens against us and for $ouff$, like Tommy has to try and put pressure on these bastards to give us a fair go and stop giving $ouff$ all their favors!! The media have shown that they come on here. If we play the filthy vermin in the GF, I want us to have a fair go at winning!!

Blue Jersey 16 games Penalties For 109 (46%) Penalties Against 128 (54%)
Traditional red & blue hoops 2 games Penalties For 5 (24%) Penalties 16 (76%)

Looks like the light jersey theory was not at play for us this season
