  • GF Tickets

Guys I know this is a little premature but I need to get myself organised in case we make it.

Is it true that the final release of GF tickets are only available to members?

If so, does being a member of any of the easts group leagues club allow you to purchase these tickets? For example, if I'm a member of Berkeley Leagues, can I buy the tickets? I am currently NOT a supporters club member i.e. ticket packages etc.

No you need to be a member of the Sydney Roosters and I'm pretty sure (although someone feel free to correct me) you need to be a Season Ticket holder.

7,000 tickets are released to each participating club's set of members so they usually sell out in the first hour or two as well.

The final release isn't for members only as such, but members do get first right to purchase with the general public getting a chance the next day. Given its only about 16,000 tickets between the 2 clubs they generally get snapped up by the members before members of the public get a look in.

In 2010 I signed up as a non ticketed member to make sure I got the tickets at the first release. It's about $40 I think. Or ask someone who is already a member for the code.

It's 7,000 tickets to each club and Ticketed members only (memberships with 3+ games) I believe

Yep... it's not even all Roosters members.

I'm interstate but got bronze just so I can get finals tickets (do it every year just incase.)

Disappointing if that is the case, I signed up at the start of the year for a non ticketed membership as I already have a SCGT membership and don't need the seats. I'm not sure why my membership is worth any less in terms of being able to purchase tickets than a ticketed member.

Yeah i'm not sure how I got tickets then on the Monday then for the 2010 G/F when I was a non ticketed member, I was actually sent a code but i don't think i could have used it till the ticketed members sale was up, I actually think some kind wallster gave me a spare code for the Monday.

Yeah I'm in Townsville so why the **** would I buy a season ticket?

I make the trip to every GF we make so I'll be gutted if I can't grab a ticket. Its grossly unfair to Interstate members.

                              Come on guys
You know at the start if the season whether the membership you have bought allows you the chance to buy members finals/grand final tickets.
If yours does not you should have bought them when they went on sale to the general public months ago......like the rest of the GENERAL PUBLIC did.

Why must society always bend over backwards to those who have missed out through their own being.
