As the majority of the chookpen have been saying for quite some time, it is so bloody obvious that the NRL want $ouff$ to win the comp. They have been trying to f**k us over with refereeing, judiciary, match scheduling and non of this has been working. Along with all the favors given to $ouff$ with all the refereeing and video ref decisions, match scheduling and judiciary decisions. So now they have to resort to this crap of drug accusations at a very convenient time!!

I just love how you try to write things off by explaining so many things as being coincidences or pass it off with your buzz word of "conspiracy", and that all conspiracies are not true!! Didn't mention anything about myself at all mate. I know the players have a better understanding/skill set/approach to deal with this content (papers/people/institutions trying to ride on the back of our season-which most like to see as them derailing us) than general posters on here based on how people react in their posts about refs etc. Why? Because the club is smart, the players are experienced and we're a 'unit' probably more than we've ever been-from front office to water boys.

I agree with your galvanising comment, but they've been galvanised since January I reckon. I don't think I've seen a more galvanised roosters team all things considered-yes penalty counts.

A few things.

This thread had nothing to do with the refs and us. Mad Rooter, who likes to call "thread hijacker", hijacked it. Well done you knob.

I absolutely do not believe there is an organised plot against Easts by the refs. It seems some here do. Well given the shafting handed out to their side over a long period, it doesn't surprise me much.

I most certainly do believe there are many refs, current and former, who have and have had a biased approach to reffing our games, possibly a result of unfairly and improperly conceived notions about how we play. The penalty stats are consistent with my opinion, but do not prove a cause and effect relationship. The Harrigan/Finch tip sheets are one plausible cause, but there are many others already mentioned by other posters (STSAE, etc). Robert Finch, whose son was discarded by Easts, could plausibly have harboured a grudge. That is only speculation on my part.

There is no conspiracy. As another poster put it, if at Christmas you give a carton of beer to everyone on the street except the bloke across the road, that is not a conspiracy, but the bloke across the road notices it.

Hardly think its hijacking by posting a direct reply to question asked. You seem like stats though.... What's the stat on posts by you which directly or indirectly reference ref bias in last 8 weeks? I don't care enough to look but I'd guess on percentages between 80-90%.

Different Reffs, different Reffs coaches, different officials at the NRL, different owners of the game.

Mate it's perception. Tip sheets exist that's been confirmed, it's a fact.

But this goes deeper. Reffs are human. They read the papers, they lived thru SL, they see the way we are caned in the media.

They are already prejudiced, before they even see a tip sheet.

I have seen ZERO evidence of conspiracy. Not ONE person has flipped since 2000 2005 2007 wherever you want to take the date from.

As I've said on many occasions we can as a club try to change perceptions by working with Reffs and the media.
