  • Guerra inspired by cordners pending fitness

Great game by guerra. Dangerous on the edges, two meat pies and in everything. Making sure he gets a run next week if/when cordner is back!

Unfortunately I was watching online and my wi-fi router upstairs kept dropping out but every time it came on I saw Guerra making breaks...he was 'ON-FIRE!"

Over 200 meters too, great game. As much as losing SBW hurts in the future, we've got great replacements ready.

Guerra's a walk up start, his form not just this game but I think for a while he's been going well.

I'm a rap for Cordner and consider him one of our top 4 players this year along side JWH, Friend and SBW.

If Cordner does get a run I think it will be off the bench and stating the bleedin' obvious Napa or Liu will miss out.

My only concern is he (Cordner) hasn't played for some time so timing and match fitness could come in to play. Really it is a nice problem for Robinson to have if hopefully there aren't any injuries from tonight's game.

                  Guerra MOM for mine.

Boyd's gotta sit this one out.

Agreed SBW was brave and had some touches but Guerra was best on field.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.

Guerra had a poor first half and if he defends like he did in first half on that left edge Lyon and Stewart wil murder us. His second half was great.

If he can convince Robbo either Liu or Napa gone

Hard marker. For the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half we had our weakest team with mortein, loo and napper on. Guerra was outstanding and bagged us a try. From there he and we never looked back. Easy choice for MOM for mine.

As I said he was really good in second half. But Newcastle don't get any points at all in first half if not for his poor effort on Mullen and his silly offload on tackle 3 in bottom corner. But looked a lot better in second half.
