  • Ray Warrens biased commentary

This guy is going senile just like Rex Mossop in his last few years of commentating praising the hell out of Knights fans tonight if we didn't out number them at least 65/35 then I'm a monkey's uncle keep up the Rooster bashing these boys Wong be denied.

It's a bit like the souths fan base myth a crowd of 60000 front up at the minor premiership decider - against manly in a grand final decider and it was a 44000 crowd and the first semi against Melbourne was a dismal showing. All the games including last night our support for our team is often derided.

The test was in the final couple of minutes when the large proportion of the Newcastle crowd had emptied out. There was a clear statement then about the level of support the roosters had.

It was funny how he was praising the Newcastle fans for not leaving when it was 34-4. How could they? They had to wait for their buses?

Yes very good - also accounted for why they were there early in block - anyone know what the crowd was

Remember... you'll only get reserve grade and afternoon footy if you vote for a coalition government. (Thanks for the tip Ray :P not just false propaganda?)

this pissed me off when I watched the replay last night. I thought there was twice as many Roosters fans as Knights fans, yet Ray Warren craps on like there are only Knights fans there
The man is an idiot and needs to be put to pasture

The crowd was 37000, and from my position in the stadium there was a steady stream of knights fans leaving with 30m to go till full time!

It was a strange the emphasis on the knights supporters. He kept banging on about 50 buses coming down. Coach capacity is what 60 people? 3,000.

The Channel 9 commentary leaves alot to be desired these days. The last round match against Souths, there were a couple of times when Souths dropped the ball and Ray Warren kept commentating as though nothing had happened and only until the referee pulled up the play did he acknowledge that there'd been a knock on.

Ray is yesterday's man - he can't call the game like he use to - his use by date is clearly evident by his liking for his own comments. The recent Manly Roosters game he and his commentary team were woeful and for such a brilliant and amazing performances by all players the commentary was flat as a tack - no justice to the players game or viewers.
