People always hammer Gus for his vaudeville act during the coverage. I argue with KB about it often. But it's not just him, they all act like goobers. They are obviously paid to carry on like pork chops. Like the cricket commentators. It's an entertainment thingy.

Not saying I agree with it, I just don't see the point banging on about something that ain't gonna change soon.

Getting rid of Hadley and bringing back Voss would do me. Hadley has a voice that makes me want to smash things. Like Laws or Jones their voices invoke anger in my usual calm facade.

I need a cone just when I think of those blokes.

Gus can be a fan of ours and we can understand but at times he has to show he is neutral. As for the commentary on Saturday, I am trying to figure out where the problem lies. Yes there were plenty of fans from both teams and perhaps the colour clash makes it difficult for someone like Rabbs and co to distinguish. I also read comments from the other team forum saying why Rabbs called a 'dubious' forward pass and didn't call it a 'forward pass'. Conspiracy the say!!!

I am convinced that Gould puts on an act when commentating. Football Gus is a clever man.
Commentary Gus is not, he is always biased depending on who he had bet on

The producer or director, whoever is in charge of the broadcast, needs a big rocket at 9. The Odd Couple routine that takes up about a 1/3 of a Rabbs/Gus broadcast should not be allowed, it is embarassing. Gus is the best analyst in the business, he should stick to the game and give the complaints about rules, officials etc a rest. As many in this thread have said, Rabbs is past it. Bring back Vossy, give Hadley the flick.
