  • Richie Fa'aoso ruled out of GF

    [QUOTE]
A SHATTERED Richie Fa'aoso will miss the NRL Grand Final after breaking his neck against South Sydney - a devastating injury which he initially tried to play through.

Widely regarded among the toughest players in the game, Fa’aoso refused to leave ANZ Stadium last Friday night despite his entire body “tingling” after being felled heavily in a first half tackle of the elimination final against the Rabbitohs./QUOTE]

I would think a broken neck would preclude you from playing.

    Tough break all the same.

Not sure...Moa would put an ice pack for 10 minutes and be out there again.

Didn't he have a run after he got injured?

How do you play with a broken neck?

I remember when broken necks meant paralysis. It's obviously a minor break, I assume.

                  Shit.

He was good for a penalty or two.

I remember that we were originally after Frank Pritchard back in the day...we ended up with the affectionately nicknamed frypan hands.
