No imo. But if we happen to lose on Sunday i'd be extremely confident of him staying. He's said all along coming back was to honour a handshake agreement with Uncle Nick and to win a premiership and he won't leave until he gets one, and if that happens to be this weekend i reckon he'll see his job done and head back to prepare for the World Cup and Olympics.

It seemed pretty clear from his interview on the footy show a few weeks ago that if we win then he leaves. Bitter sweet really...

At least we have a great team and aren't relying on just one player! There wont be a hangover like there was when Freddy left! As a second rower we will easily be able to slot someone else into SBWs vacant position. Not to mention having an additional $1m to spend on the market.

          So fingers crossed ...

As a roosters fan I'd love him to stay, but in all honesty if I was him I'd leave if we win, makes him look even greater, he did all he had to and won a comp

Agreed. He would have left his mark in a big way and Rugby is where he is truly happy.

I think if he was definitely staying, he would've came out and said so by now. I think he is either definitely going (and paying the Roosters the respect of not announcing while still at the club) or his decision is based on the result.

I think he will go if we win.

Sonny has been great but he's not the sole reason for our success. It's been a real team effort. I'd love him to stay but we've shown this year that we're still good when he's not in the team so if he goes it's not the end of the world.

i think he will stay regardless, he really gets in and celebrates with the boys, i think he is enjoying more than what people give him credit for.

We're a lot better for him being here. In the last year, a lot of our backrowers have lifted their game, Cordner and Guerra come to mind.
                      Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

I have a feeling he will move on next year, but I know someone close to Khoder Nasser who claims he will be with us next year.
I don't have much faith in this source, so I have taken that tip with a grain of salt...

I reckon he will get on the piss and eat a bacon sarnie if we win the comp.
