Why RTS and Boyd Didn't Get Interviewed

    The most likely scenario is that the presentation night was poorly organized with far too much time allocated to the fashion and music and not the awards.

        For the same reason Richard Hadlee got 400 wickets for New Zealand -- he didn't have to share them with other superstars. Melbourne have 3 decent players only -- Slater, Cronk and Smith. Naturally, for that reason, they'd all poll well.

        Our team, on the other hand, is loaded with stars, so the allocation of points was, like Lara Bingle, shared around a lot more.

        But what I can't understand is how SBW didn't poll a single point after the voting went secretive. He was on 11 points at that time and played some blinders afterwards ... but not a single point. Ridiculous.

          If someone had time it'd be interesting to put the Dally M votes, the ABC's Ryan medal 321s and the telecaster's MoM awards side by side...
          It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.

            Does it really matter what a media generated award night says? We know the boys are champions and that is all that matters.

              At the start of the Awards, they announced that not all winners would be interviewed.

              Would not be surprised if it was a little reverse psychology from the Roosters, Place a media ban on the players, Fox don't interview them, Roosters fans get riled up and create a siege mentality.... go to the GF with said siege mentality and support the boys to a win....... Could be plausible !

                in All seriousness, RTS and boyd would have been fine to speak if required. And those Dally M trophies are bloody heavy !
