  • Training today

I was lucky enough to catch the boys at training today.

The "likely" 17 wearing special singlets were running against the others.

Cordner was wearing one of these singlets. He looked very sharp. I reckon he will be in the 17.

Later on they did some contact work. I cringed each time he was gang tackled, especially when one player went around the legs to bring him down. He survived unscathed.

SBW did the earlier light work but sat out of the contact drills.

O'Donnell did some light work but also sat out of the contact drills. He stood on the sideline with ice around his hammy.

Liu swapped around both sides, as did MLK.

Kane Evans took part in the contact stuff and held his own. He is a big lad.

    SKD dropped a couple LOL

    Fark I'm pumped!

    Easts to win.

      Good question.

He was mostly with the defensive unit.

They mixed it up during the contact session.

if LOD is still icing his hammy he is no chance of playing on sunday, so its just a matter of choosing between LIU/Napa/Kennedy for the final bench spot.

I'd go Napa over Liu and MK if LOD is ruled out. He's been the most in-form of the three.

                  Yeah he was there.

Did plenty of running. Seemed to be the same player each time...hmmmm.....

                        Not necessarily mate.

I have a feeling he will be there.

The more I think about it, I think it's good to have Cords in though his fitness worries me but as long that he can at least come off the bench then great. As for LOD, well I believe we can get by without him. Like MK, they are great to have but they are also a liability with penalties and dropped balls.

I think people forget how much LOD lifted during the manly game when JWH wasn't there...

He is huge finals asset, if fit.
