  • Bill Harrigan Going for Roosters

"I'm going for the Roosters because my good mate and neighbour goes for the Roosters. I also think the Roosters will win."

    And this gem from banasta:

Q: Braith are you filthy the roosters let u go and now their in the GF

A: Not at all. When I was in negotiations with them, there was no SBW, no Michael Jennings, no Luke O'Donnell, no Trent Robinson. The place was a mess. Players were unhappy. The club was in trouble. They've turned it around after I left. I'm disappointed with the fact that I negotiated under completely different circumstances, but we move on and now I'm really happy for the boys and hoping they win!

LOL, what a strange coincidence. And of course none of the problems had anything to do with him. Oh wait thats right he's a lovely bloke.

        And this from Thurston

        Hi Rob

It was a hugely disappointing end to our season however I'm now just focused on spending some time with my family ahead of the World Cup. A World Cup win would be a nice way to finish off the year I think!

        We'll get them next year!

Thanks for your support & good luck for the Roosters this weekend hey!!! (Gotta beat Manly)!!
        Cheers
        JT
No no no...not saying he is a mate but he was just replied to my email post Sharks game. Good Guy!

Braith has one thing going for him, and it's got nothing to do with Football.

          And Bill should remember history.

          SUPER DRAGON!

Last time Harrigan was asked by a very prominent wallster over a coffee about Easts' chances was in 2002. He said Easts would win it by a country mile. They were that far ahead of everyone else. Our defence then scared teams who didnt want to come back out for another onslaught in the second half.

This year we are better. We have more controlled agression and better D technically.

Defense wins Premierships. Souths and Melbourne are living proof that a good attack wont win you shit without the best Defence.

                We have the best Defense.
Manly will run with us for a good part of the game.

But for once in my 40 years of supporting Easts, I feel we will win and win confortably.

Once again..on the back of Defense.

                Go Easts.

Harrigan used to live on Birrell St in Bondi Junction.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Nice to see you back Frier. I agree with all you have to say.

I really thought our attack would be the best part of our game this year. What a great surprise to see the defence win us plenty of games.

                    Go Easts.
