Now that Green has gone to Townsville, I would like to see Fitzy given the job, if he wants it. I was very disappointed in the defence side of our 20's team this year, I don't think Green handled that part of the job very well at all, and as we all know defence was one of Craigs specialities.

Unfortunately the coaches are incentivised to win and not to train up the players for first grade. This results in the coaches, and teams focusing on attack...

Defense in any of the NYC teams is non existent thats why reserve grade has to return and NYC has got to go back to 35 minute halves these kids can't handle 80 minutes hence the blow out scoreline every week.

Don't blame the coaches esp Green, I am not surprised he has move back to coaching men.
Its the players, so many have no ticker.

Compared to most of the first graders they don't.
Just watch the games, not all but alot are soft and lazy in defense

I agree, reserve grade should return / nyc drops below reserve grade. Id much rather seeing fringe nrl players rather than kids ive never heard of. Just look at the warriors and bulldogs final, the scoreline was 54-38 that's over 90 points in a match mind you it was a final. Crazy stuff but yes I'd prefer reserve grade over u20's.
