  • Lovely news piece on SKD on channel ten news just then...

It was about his father, John Dowall and how John inspired SKD to become a professional athlete. We bag SKD a terrible amount on this site, without realizing how far he has come in his life.

Really inspiring stuff for anyone who saw it. I'll see if I can get a link.
    Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

There's a thing on the Roosters website about how SKD got here and what he had to do to get here, it's really good, makes you feel for the great SKD.

I was going to mention the video on there but thought everyone would have viewed it. It's a great video.

So many great stories from this years side.
Mini and his endless back issues.
SKD and his journey, especially under duress from all corners.
      Jennings and his redemption.
Pearce and his coming of age-especially on the back of SOO
Friend and him fulfilling his potential.
      Moa and his journey.
Cordner and his achievements after years and years of crap luck. Including his early childhood battles.
LOD and his journey and second chance at his NRL career.
Napa-boy amongst men who held his own and nailed the games greats along the way.

Endless great stories. I hope the GF is the icing a lot of these fellas deserve.

Shaun is a great kid, alot of people don't realise some of the stuff he has had to endure this year.
His dad is a wonderful man as well, who I have immense respect for.

His defence has been outstanding late this season.

If he can keep it up on Sunday, he'll be a hero.

Kid went from a showy finisher, to the depths of bad form, to a defensive powerhouse.

          Here's hoping.

                  The kid is delivering.

                  It's fate.

                  Purple form.

I hope Robbo does't go conservative.

I agree, Napa's on a roll. Maybe's it's beginners luck, but prob not. You can't fit them all in though but that said, it's only the great problem of too many options that could see him miss out

I'd definitely have him in over Maubs and Liu and, probably, Guerra
