Taking my extreme rooster bias and putting it to one side, I think that manly are an extraordinary team, and have been for a number of years. I can't really ever remember them not being a competitive side for a while now.

When you consider how much of their salary cap is distributed between a handful of players and how little remains for the rest of the team.

They always purchase wisely too. Always picking up club discards like Horo, Symmonds and Lawrence etc and transforming them into regular/consistent first graders.
