His composure and control were great on the weekend. His long kicking game was also very good with most kicks hitting the turf rather than being swallowed by the fullback.

He wasn't as dangerous in attack as he has been in the lead up games, but I think that had more to do with Manly's great defence rather than poor attacking options. For the tries (that Pearce wasn't involved in) we had to do some pretty freakish stuff - Tupous climb into the air, Jennings put down and a great team try from a SBW offload.

I think SKDs try was the most freakish at all. Not only did we see the refs cut us some slack on a forward pass, we also saw an incredible long pass by mini which SKD ran onto from way back without fumbling!

Turned everything around after SOO From that point on Pearce has played with the precision poise and guile that I expect from a top notch halfback

Mitchell Peace can consider himself very unlucky not to have been awarded a Kangaroos jersey for the World Cup His from since SOO certainly warranted one

His control of the match imo was top shelf and I thought he was the CCM personally. His vision to hold the pass up for a second before firing to Guerra to score, his kicking game turned Manly around, he kept the defense honest by running the ball and he even scored a repeat set!
He certainly did not have a bad game. He didn't do anything spectacular, but he had a good game nonetheless.
For the haters that say he can't earn a Forced Drop-out to save himself.... he earned one in the game that matters the most.

Even if Pearce scored a hattrick himself, set up another five tries, forced 10 line drop outs and kicked a few 40/20s, people would still bag him out..... Some just jump on the stupid hate towards Pearce which is unjustified
