He doesn't have to get out of the way, merely run a straight line to where the ball is going to come down.... which I think he did.
Funny thing is in the 1st half Lyons ran a line in attempt to keep Toupo from contesting a bomb & nothing was said, Toups still got to the kick & was able to knock it back to Jennings.
As for when Mini was tackled before he received a pass from SBW when a try looked imminent, very little was said and no replay shown. Very convenient.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

Warren is a silly old fool who loves the sound of his own voice, and should have given it away ages ago.......i just dont get ch 9's way of thinking. But in saying that, Fox had the other d#*ck, i mean warren (smith) on, and his bias against the Roosters is even more pronounced. So all in all, we were in a lose lose situation as far as commentary goes !!!

Helicopters, light planes ...always seem to be crashing.
He and Gould sure did seem to be cheering for Manly.

Quote from the great Rabs
''I bash myself up more than most,'' he reveals. ''Those who know me would tell you I'm one of the great paranoids. I used to bash myself up just wondering what mistakes I'd made. I'd be convinced I'd embarrassed myself and my family. I still sometimes leave the ground upset about my call. But what I've learned is that, if you make a mistake, don't analyse it. That's really helped me.
''I strive for perfection, but it's a lot harder now for commentators. There's a lot more people playing, interchanges, new rules … For a while during the All Stars game, I didn't know if I was Arthur or Martha. There were 20 players on each bench, unlimited interchanges and some players I'd never seen.''
Lucky he doesnt bash himself up anymore or he would be dead
