You can tackle an attacking player in the air, but Wolfman was tacklng him before he had even caught the ball ..... that's the illegal part.
I think Toops may have ended the Wolfman's footy career ...he was afterall supposedly playing for a contract. You wouldn't pay that shell shocked, blithering mess of a winger anything after Toops had finished with him !

I don't understand (& Im not having a go at anyone on this forum) where all this we got all the 50-50 call shit comes from. FFS all year we have fought against negative penalty counts, while teams like souffs, sharks & melb enjoy & expect excess penaltys coming their way yielding them some very comfortable wins. Then the finals come along & most refs drop the pedantic rule inforcement cos they all want to ref a GF. Really all we copped was a fiar go for the last 3 or 4 matches & guess what we won a comp.
