I believe his peers are the best judges.

Most, if not all, would rate him as the best forward and well and truly in the top three players in rugby league.

Who cares what these dinosaurs think.

    We are the Premiers.

    Easts.

Well said! Souffs should start preparing now for their pre-season grand final against St. George. That is about all the glory they will taste any time soon.

Yesterday I was walking back to my car with both hands full carrying shopping bags. I was wearing one of my Roosters jerseys, as you do after your team has just won the premiership all of sudden this holden ute goes slowly along side of me and this bloke starts crapping on to me about how the refs ruined the game, they should have been given two kicks at goal for the penalty try, the forward pass and how it cost manly. I looked at him and couldn't see who he supported so I asked him, your a manly supporter are you? He said no, I go for the mighty bunnies.

I just f**king laughed at him and yelled out GO THE ROOSTERS, he then just said to me go get f**ked blah blah blah, I couldn't hear the last bits as he was speeding away.

It was priceless, the butt hurt that all of $ouff$ are feeling with d!ckheads like sattler and mccarthy coming out talking their $hit, along with all their pi$s poor excuse for vermin toofless fans whining and crying, it is f**king brilliant!! It just makes our premiership win all the more sweeter, I love it!!

GO THE MIGHTY ROOSTERS, 2013 PREMIERS!!! YOU LITTLE BLOODY BEAUTY!!! ROOSTERS ROOSTERS ROOSTERS!!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

          Lol Rooster Oracle

Do they not realise that every insult makes our victory that little bit more sweet?

The butthurt from opposition fans is just delicious.

I posted a photo of me with my 3 mates celebrating after the win on Facebook, my souffs supporter uncle then made a comment asking me how did I manage to find another 3 roosters supporters.....I said yeah it was difficult, a lot harder than standing outside Centrelink and rounding up souffs supporters....he didn't see the humour!

To say that Sonny 'doesn't hold a candle to McCarthy' is the most absurd thing I have ever heard a footballer say.. And that's saying something when you have intellects such as Blake Ferguson in the game today.
I had a good laugh at that comment at lunch time Holly. I had to come back for a second read!

I walked past Easts Leagues today and there was a Vermin fan in the verandah section saying how next year will be their year. First of all, get out of our club and secondly, stop smoking those stinking cigarettes! And telling big fat porkies...It's seriously gonna get to 50 years soon if they don't stop whinging..

the funny thing is that history shows the premiership window is over after a few years, one more failed year before Rusty will be giving his share away

The last two years was their window. Their confidence is shot after losing two preliminary finals. I can't see them improve unless they recruit similar to what we did this year. They need at least two star backs and a decent 5/8 which just aren't available. They are desperate for Fergo but we may trump them.

I just had the same thought. They had their chances and didn't step up when it really mattered. I think that Souths will backslide now to a top 6 team at best. They only have themselves to blame for riding high when they really had won nothing, and that goes for their fans too. In contrast, Trent kept cool and calm heads in our team, even though we had some monumental victories this year. I was so low key myself, it really didn't hit me until yesterday that we've won and felt able to share with work colleagues my experiences of Sunday when they asked..it was all like a dream..

They signed Joel Reddy, so they only need one more.

That sums it all up really. What gave me the biggest indication that we would win the big one was after the pre lim against the Knights. As much as I wanted the boys to come over and say hello, I was so happy that thaey stayed tight as a bunch and clapped the crowd and departed to the sheds quickly.

Have a look at the way Manly celebrated after the Souffs victory. Sharks after the Cows, and Knoghts after the Storm. They had all played their big game.

Robbo never let this side get ahead of themselves.

Adzta, that was exactly what I was thinking after the Knaughts victory. We were all on the Eastern side and yes it would've been great for the team to come over and whoop it up but they just gave a salute from afar and a little clap and then back in the sheds to get their stuff together for the big one. Very professional and measured. What a team!!
Now, back to back 2014. First team in the NRL era to do it. How good would that be???
