Rather than internal promotion I wouldn't mind someone who has done a good apprenticeship under a few coaches and is able to some fresh ideas to our side. Our plans from this year aren't going to work next year and I think having a fresh set of eyes can be as good as any big-name signing.

then you would have Robbo/Fitzy/Freddy/Lammy not a bad group of Roosters legends and when Morley retires he can come in as forwards coach.

Having Moz as forwards coach would be an easy job.

at the end of 04 from memory we lost both Cartwright and Cleary.

That left a huge void in our coaching ranks in those days. The game has become far more technical since then and it is impossible for a coach to handle the workload without quality assistants.

I selfishly am desperate to keep JT.

there is a video on the roosters site prior to the gf( brekky interview I think) and at no stage during the interview he said he was a rooster. the closest he came was saying he is an immortal. he is a riff and will always be a riff. the fans are what is keeping him connected to us.
watch the interview and draw your own conclusions. brad left us when he was sacked and is now only available when he is paid, either by us or if nein needs some special interview.
