Maybe Fitzy can move up from the waterboy to an assistant. Most teams seem to go with a halves coach as well as it has such a big impact on a teams performance. I wonder what Finchy is doing now he has retired?
Fitzy is the defensive coach, I think it is fair to say he stepped up

Don't get me wrong, Jt has done a fantastic coaching job but even SBW himself couldn't turn that place around. All their money has been invested in all the wrong players, long term too may I add. They're like us during the 06-09 period. We're lucky we didn't win more than one spoon.

It will be at least another 5 yrs before their club is a threat to the premiership. Enough time to unearth talent through their juniors, bring in an actual coach, firstly to clean the club and secondly to instil pride. Brian Smith for 2 years followed by Daniel Anderson for another 2 outta do the job.
      Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

Parramatta's the job that can kill off your career. It's taken JT a little while to get it back to this stage so why not hold off and find the right fit. Good luck to him either way, because he seems like a nice guy.

Jason Taylor misses out on the parra coaching job. It went to Brad Arthur from Manly.

              Good.
              Parra would destroy his career...permanently.

What a rabble of a club they are. JT may not think so at the moment, but this is a good outcome for him. There will be other opportunities for him at better organised clubs.

Exactly FF! The eels are a joke of a club, seriously JT has dodged a bullet there!

This is a brilliant outcome for our club, I am cheering hearing this news!! It further strengthens our chances of going back to back!

JT will have a very good chance of coaching at the tigers, dragons or warriors in 2015.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                              Here's looking at you, kid.

It must be killing the NRL to have Parramatta so weak. In one of the areas in Sydney with the greatest population, they have a club that f*ck up everything they touch. In the meantime, other sports move in an claim disillusioned fans and junior talent.

If they don't get their act together soon, the NRL will surely have to move in and assist/support/cleanout.
