Well said mate..... It was an honour seeing him play for our great club. I think he fell in love with the place while he was here, so good to know he will always be a fan of the Red, White and Blue!

Incredible roller coaster all year long. All media and drama aside, what he did on the field and his impact off the field has changed every aspect of the Roosters.

All SBW aside, I want the Roosters to prove how good they are without him.

I said when we looked at signing him, as others did, we could win a comp with SBW and maybe a couple more signings. I also said when plenty on here dribbled on about him, that if he, obviously with others, could win us a comp I couldn't care if he only stayed for 1.Thankyou for life long memories Sonny. I have had an absolute ball watching you, and it was a privilege to see you in the RWB. I will get shot for this, but I sort of want you to move on. It was the perfect year, and I love nothing more than the story of sporting legends. I can only imagine how highly you will be thought of by our fans in the future. 'Sonny came here, changed the ethic and culture of this club, was absolutely devastating, inspirational to everyone on our roster, won us a comp, all In 9mths or so'. Gee SBW, I never thought I would say this, but I love you equally as much as I love Freddy. No homo.

Sonny, if you do go back to the chiefs next year....Salamat din Sonny (Thanks Sonny) for helping us win the title and changing the culture for the better at Easts. If you do go I hope to see you back at the Roosters in 2017. If not then thanks for the memories, I will be telling the grandkids about your exploits for the Roosters this year and they will be watching the DVD's/Blurays or whatever is available in 15 20 years time.
