If you look at the 2 players stats for 2009 you might be surprised and consider Taylor is only 21 and had a number of injuries in 2008 and Myles 24.

He's a destructive ball runner but that's about all I still think he has a lot of developing to do... 300k is a big risk and I criticised it when we signed Myles for that much at his age. Since then he has proven to be worth it imo.

Hopefully with a more structured team next year Myles can prove his worth.
Dave Taylor does look like a promising young forward, i suppose we will have to wait and see who's stats are better at the end of next season.

He has been impressive toward the back end of the season though.
Oh and as for Myles - best forward we have, quality through and through, does his job and more often covering up others bullshit mistakes while getting FA credit for it.
No wonder our club is known for it's shit recruitment. We **** off all the hard workers while searching for a superstar.
Oh and by the way - Myles has been our leading metre gainer(forwards) this year, the only forward that actually came close to breaking 100m mark.
Came 3-4th in tackles made while playing less minutes that Jake and Fitzy.
He also played 17 games which isn't exactly sitting out half the season.
That's almost the workload of 2 Masons.
I almost wish that at least half of our pack has the heart that this bloke has.
Want scapegoats for this year ? There are plently in the forwards - try the whole pack excluding Fitzy Myles and Jake.
Or try garbage coaching.
Or even SKD who every week finds a new way to make me want to pull my hair out.
Don't push garbage onto the best player we have.

Not hard to have better stats when you play in a team that reached the semi's while Myles is playing for wooden spooners with nothing going for them.
Or the fact that he has been running at centre most of the season.
Even the fact that as garbage as the Broncos pack has been this season they are still leaps and bounds ahead of ours meaning he has even less work to do.

I would be interested in seeing the number of penalties conceded, maybe Taylor gives away more than his fare share but Myles certainly does and imho is a result of a lack of fitness given most are for slowing down in the ruck...
