  • Mason: Should he stay or should he go?

Hasn't been a defintive poll made yet. Regardless of the unfair dismissal implications, if you had the choice, would you sack him/pay out his contract or give him a shot this year?

I would pay him out whatever the hell he wants, even the full amount.

If Mason plays to his ability he could be the most damaging forward in the comp. We don't have many talented players so to get rid of him would be stupid.

This guy is a has been, he's past it.
Played without aggression (even after he fully recovered from his knee op).
Doesn't hit the line hard enough i.e Fui Fui, Asotasi, is easily contained in tackles and doesn't offload like he used to.
In defence he should monster them and draw fear. When was the last time you witnessed him pull off a big hit?
          Enough said.
Sayonara Willie Nillie and if not, get used to playing at Henson Park.

He did pick up some momentum but his last 2 games were diabolical coggy.

Mason hasn't played to his ability since the end of 04. I doubt he will again.

Talent means Fark all without a little commitment and passion to go with it. And Mason has neither for the Roosters.

The Roosters are the charity that provide his meal ticket and get nothing in return.

                    Agreed.

But he is not being paid to "pick up some momentum".

He is being paid marquee money yet he performs below average.

it's not his on field form that worries me its his off field antics. THat said im basing a lot of it on here-say and rumours so im not basing it off much fact to be fair
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

Would your heart have been in this year if you were playing with teamates who were capitulating all around you every week. Why bother to be over aggrssive?

I think he wants to earn his money next year.
