          I remember hearing and/or seeing the same thing and being as mortified as you were.

          Young Pearce could already find trouble on his own, the last thing he ever needed was Mason's influence to bloody encourage it further.

            and yet it was sa, cherro, waqa and friend that have found themselves in trouble with the law. pearce is guilty of probably having too good a time on occasion like willie, but i'm yet to see him charged with assault or drink driving... mortifying
