Wish I was a highly paid journo... but no... sorry to disappoint. My hair is v dk brown/black - not red. And i'm a guy. And i'm not defending the media if you read my posts. I just happen to think that where there's smoke... The relative silence from most parties is deafening. There is some truth or it doesn't get printed. Papers dont print stuff unless they can back it up (to at least a certain extent). Or is the club too scared to sue. It makes sense if you think about it.

I also wish the whole thing wasnt happening, but something is. And its not good. We are an embarrassment. Some players simply made very little effort at all in 2009. Can you defend the utter trash they dished up this year?

Refereed for 10 years in juniors with a couple of current referees. So yes, I do defend them now and them but i also get told off by my wife and mates for giving it to some of them too. I think they definitely cost us a couple of games at least. But then, most supporters (of different clubs) would also claim the same. Gave it away because of 2 arthritic knees and a desire to watch the roosters each week. Getting to grade & junior reps used to be and probably still is a very political animal - for want of better terms. Rather than paying individuals more, they need a bigger pool of them.
