  • SKD should stay

All of this talk about Ferguson is really unfair to SKD. He really lifted his game this year and he deserves his spot in the team. I'm sure confidence is sky high with SKD and I reckon 2014 will see him in career best form.

Most of us would prefer him to stay but sadly other moves are afoot which could see him happily move on.

Nothing wrong with competition for spots whether that be Moga or Ferguson vying for positions.

Moga is the forgotten one in all of this, the kid is the real deal and will prove a lot of people wrong in the next couple of years.

Moga has a long way to catch up.

The popular opinion two weeks ago was that Shaun Kenny Sowall should be dropped.

Most kids do at 19 years of age, it's called potential.

The rumour is for a Fergo/SKD swap.

I think we need to take emotion out of it. With Jennings on one side and Fergo on the other we will become very short odds to go back-to-back.

                    Exactly.

He's barely been given a chance, only half a season in FG. Yet some still want to write him off.

I don't think anybody has written Moga off. The sad fact is, the guy has done his knee twice before the age of 21.
You only need to go through the annals of League and you'll find a number of stories of other promising players that we're cruelled by similar injuries.

Until Fergo runs amok and shafts us up the bum with a wooden spoon.

The guy is a loose cannon!!! When I saw him against us this season he was on fire... amazing talent/passion but christ!!! The guy is an a-grade wanka who loses his head at anything. A kid behind me was yelling $hit at Fergo and Fergo was literally responding... he yelled abuse at the kid and gave him the bird. Yes this is passion and he performed on the day, but IMO hot heads are bad news.

Most of us (including me) aren't big fans of SKD. He fumbles and runs sideways a lot BUT he's got a certain something IMO.

2010... FPN forced the turn-over then SKD's intercept won us the game.

2013... SKD's try secured the GF for us.

SKD definitely has a lot of his dad in him. I challenge anybody to spit out 2 teeth without grimacing, play most of a GF with a broken jaw (again... no obvious signs of pain/weakness with big carnts like Matai/Watmough running straight at him) and score the match winning try.

Fergo has talent but let some spoiled eastern suburbs kid get to him during a game that was nothing like a GF. I also put a lot of his form during that game down to us having an experimental ad-hoc backline (I think Mini was out?) he belongs where his shoe was during that game thanks to Maloney... off the field.

IMO Carney backfired in a big way because he made such a positive impact to the team in the first place. 2011 was just 2009 revisited. Difficult to see Fergo having that level of impact. In any case, you saw the tolerance Robbo had for BJ's antics.

How in hell are we going to afford Ferguson?

                              Here here!

Competition ia healthy & if that hurts skds feeling than he needs an exit strategy.... Grow some balls & let it bring out your best game!
