I still stand by my claim that Mini is one of the worst fullbacks in the comp and isn't even the best fullback at our club.

I was proven wrong by SBW because I was adamant that a second rower could not subsidise the lack of creativity in our spine. And how wrong I was.

          • Thinking about starting a thread called 'Forwards who made more linebreaks than our Fullback'.

What are your guys thoughts on that?

Well considering we have a backrow that consist of 3 specialist hole runners and an SBW it kind of discredits your thread.

I wonder how many linebreaks Nigel Plum made?

He did the job Robbo wanted according to the structure of the team, he played a massive part in organising. There is more then one way to skin a cat and I think thats y we won it, we didnt try and play like the melb we played our own game and style. Anyway mini is now a hero and a club legend.

You make it sound like it's the norm for a fullback to make less linebreaks than an attacking forward? Do you actually believe what you're writing?

No I make it sound like we have backrowers that specialize in making linebreaks and halves that can set up linebreaks.

Do you actually believe what you're writing? Minichiello was great this season, saved us in defence a lot, his kick returns improved, was safe as a bank and scored some magical tries. This was his best year post-injuries.

You wont get any disagreements from me on that, I've never attacked his status at the club or him as a person I have nothing but admiration & respect for the way he returned from his injuries and his loyalty to the club.

I just think some people struggle to see him for the player he really is these days.

So you don't think it's strange a large number of forwards in the competition are making more linebreaks than our fullback?

Not when we win the comp and have the best attack in the league.

                            lol what?

That makes it even more strange. I hope you're not aspiring to be a lawyer.

So us having the best attack means we should purely focus on having a fullback that breaks the line? Even when we have enough players that can do the job better.

Since when did we rate players on linebreaks anyway?
