SKD or not, now that we won the premiership - we will go from hunters to being the hunted. We will be the bar that every other team wants to meet and exceed. And if we are to beat them then we have to be better than last year. Either by bringing new players or having a different structure or something, we need to continue to be ahead of the rest.

He didn't create anything to put four points on the board.
He was out of position to take a SBW pass that would have put him into the clear.
He off loaded in real traffic that coul dhave really hurt us.
        Should I go on??????
        Josh...... cmon.....

SKD is a winger.... generally they don't "Create" that's why we have halves and 5/8's, they "Create" for us.

He offloaded in "real Traffic" as opposed to offloading in "Fake Traffic"?? When the hell do you think off loads occur?? When No one is around??

He was out of position for the SBW pass but was in perfect position for the Minichiello pass when he scored.......

The guy played 70+ minutes of a grand final with a ****ing busted Jaw. If that does not show the commitment that SKD has to making this club successful.... then i don't know what will !

            He's a centre on $350k a year who doesn't do a great deal.
I don't want him taking the tough hit-ups. I want him causing havoc on the edge and scoring/setting up bulk tries.
Apart from 2010, SKD played his best footy on the wing. I remember a year (possibly 2008) where he scored 20-odd tries. Maybe he should go back out there with a pay cut.

Josh is spot on with his posts.

SKD playing the GF with a broken jaw took a lot of guts, but I think it is making us all forget about his form throughout 26 rounds of football. He had his moments, but he is simply not worth $350k. And as Josh pointed out he is a centre...centres do need to be able to 'create' opportunities for their outside wingers.

Keep him by all means, but he should be taking a pay cut as he isnt playing in the same form he was in 2010 (when he signed his current contract).

Not always mate. the one about SKD doing nothing in the GF is probably the dumbest one I've ever read.

And yours about the pay cut runs it a close second.

What, so you think we should overpay someone?

You didn't see how well he defended, he was always dangerous in broken play, he made no errors, he played extremely tough, should I go on??????

Just because SKD didnt make any trademark blunders this shouldn't be classified as a great game by him. I agree he was extremely tough through the game but I still think you are giving him more credit than should be.

He didnt defend that great. Re-watch the first try and matai's try...in both cases SKD was out of position. Sure his inside men should have shuffled, but they got around him and SKD left his winger with two on one on both occasions.

SKD (like every other player) signed a contract for a specified amount. You can't just 'give him a paycut'.

When it comes time for him to re-sign, these things can obviously be negotiated, but until then, his contract stands!

Sorry, I am referring to after his contract ends. Which is at the end of 2014 isnt it?

If Robinson feels that SKD is worthy of a first grade position then that's enough for me.

Likewise for me. Everyone on here is (including you and I) are allowed our opinions, but in the end it is Robinson who has the final say.

Not sure about the first try but the Matai try was an SBW error - he rushed out of the line and that panic play created the try.
