    Thanks for that TV
About 8 or 9 years ago there was a bloke on the Wall who said he was moving overseas or something and needed to get rid of most of his "stuff". Part of that stuff was a scrapbook filled with 1975 press clippings. He asked if anyone wanted it so, of course, I said, sure, I'll have it. When I read your story about Schubert I vaguely remembered that photo being in the scrapbook. When I started leafing through the scrapbook I thought I must have been mistaken, because I couldn't find it ... but it was on the second last page.

So you were in 10 in 1975; I was 7 and can't quite remember the grand final.

By the way, top right hand corner of the photo ... Harry Potter lookalike!

Yes I recall chatting to someone either here or on the Roosters members forum a few years ago about this. Not sure if he had gone to rainbow Street public school. Yes I remember that GF well as it could considering the length of time. I'm not Harry Potter I am next to Schubert to 'HIS' right with the horizontal striped jumper.

Loved watching the video again what a job it would be defending against Harris and Mullins, brilliant side and my all time favourite Artie Beetson. Fantastic support play and Ian Schubert was great.

What school was that FC? Talk about freedom of choice No wonder those doggies fans are extreme..they were probably brainwashed. Guantanamo bay may have nothing on your school

Deep in bulldogs territory at Padstow, was a migrant kid with my mob coming out from Ireland and England and landed at the East Hills migrant hostel, so had no allegiances to the Bulldogs.

I cant remember exactly what sent me towards Easts but I just started playing Rugby League and was drawn to Easts.

The Easts strip of the 1970s is still remains one of the greatest playing strips.

Yeah I know that's not you ... was just commentating that that other kid looks like Harry Potter. Do you remember all the names of those kids in the photo?

yes every thing is relative in footy, we all know the game appears faster now in all aspects due in part to the total professionalism and training of the players, however a good footy player from any era was a good footy player and if he went back through a time tunnel i dare say john brass and mark harris could walk into our current team?artie certainly would? mght have to play brass at 5/8 to fit jennings into the centres?once ahain wed be faced with an embaressment of riches!

I didn't delete it after all.

Nobody can get you into trouble for what you're thinking.

I just saw Scott Morrison on television, I was thinking the same thing as last night.
