I really hope we can keep LOD. If not then we'll only have two experienced props which is a scary thought.

Imagine not having LOD for that 4 nil Manly game where he was Players Players in JWHs absence...

We need him and his ability to play 60 minutes in those type of games if we are to go back to back.

Unless Casty turns out to be another Moa.
I'm afraid it looks that way Tommy he would've been loaded up with incentives like all shrewd managers put in their contracts so whatever he earned this year as minimum has to go into next years cap we've seen the last of LOD unfortunately.

If he leaves his job is done he was brought in to bring experience to the team now that we have won a comp all our player cant get much better experience then that.

Lets take a look at what our forward pack + bench might look like next year.

        8. JWH
        9. Friend
        10. Moa
        11. Cordner
        12. SBW
        13. FPN/Casty

        14. LOD --> Evans (much like MK --> Napa this year)
        15. Napa
        16. Casty/FPN/Liu
        17. Guerra/Aubo/Morts

That is a worrying log jam. Especially considering the good form of Guerra during and Aubo leading up to finals time.

IMO, LOD, Liu, SBW and Morts will all be gone by 2015, which will lead to a forward pack + bench of:

        8. JWH
        9. Friend
        10. Moa
        11. Guerra
        12. Cordner
        13. Casty

        14. Evans
        15. Napa
        16. FPN
        17. Aubo
WTF are you doing back on here DCkegs??? Going back on your word yet again hey?? You aren't much of a man to be going back on your word again now are you??

What happened to; "Note to mods: I know I should be banned, but would it be possible for me to hang around during grand final week, then fark off afterwards? You've let TCB stay after he admitted he was MRIHK, I think it would only be fair to let a Roosters fan enjoy the week that is Grand Final week."

The words coming from you are meaningless, utterly worthless as you are not a man of your word!!

So in other words.........F**K OFF DC!! I realize you are such a DC so it will take extra time for you to get that to sink in, but even for you surely now can start to take the hint!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

my words? let's take a look at some of the words that came from you in recent times:

'Their main objective obviously is that they desperately want the so called pride of the league $ouff$ to win at all costs for there feel good fairytale premiership win, which they believe is the best thing for the game to help in their war with the AFL and soccer, plus the ultimate way to cash in the most! This is why $ouff$ are given all their favors this year!!'

And rothfield reckons LOD is off to sharks to replace Bryce Gibbs
Sounds like Rothfield wants LOD at the Sharks. Did he say anything about sources close to the Roosters say that they won't re-sign him or he's on the outer? If I remember correctly he did a similar thing with Beau Ryan saying he was on the outer at the Tigers and not wanted... Beau got scared and followed his mate Heighington (that's my theory)... when the Tigers, apparently, thought they'd had him signed. I don't know, I just like conspiracies and I don't like the Telegraph.
              Anyway, I hope he stays.

There will be a lot of movement once the structure of the second tier is announced.

helped us win a premiership. would be nice if he stuck around for another year but we can't keep everybody. does this mean that Minichiello is staying for another year?

Love the fact the sharks are on a strong recruitment drive yet again as opposed to poaching players from other clubs. Is this about the 5th year in a row they've bought about 10 new players to the club in an attempt to buy (sorry, recruit) a premiership?

The Sharks pack will be a tough bunch of hombres. LOD, Gallen, Fifita with blokes doing the tough stuff and blokes with skill like Tupou, Luke Lewis and Graham.

A few teams will come away from Shark park with a a lot of bumps and bruises and their tails between their legs.

Our prop depth is a concern next year.
With MK gone and LOD looking like leaving we are short.
You can assume Jarrod will be suspended at some stage. Moa more than likely will miss a bit of footy due to injury.
Evans and Napa are only young pups.
                          Isaac L has potential.
                          Hopefully Casti comes good.

I'm confident Liu, Evans and Napa will have us covered.

Although many on here don't like him, FPN could also play a bit up front (and maybe Napa dropping back). With a backrow of SBW, Guerra and Cordner - plus Maubs in reserve and young blokes coming through, FPN may have to step up.

It's not that I for one don't like the man but he seems to have 2 gears pre-contract and post-contract.

I prefer FPN to start, play tight hit hard, then sit down. When he comes off the bench he always has a mistake in him, either a stupid offload or rushed play the ball. He plays his best footy when he plays simple.
Also, the G-Unit really stepped up in 2013 and can play tight when needed, not the whole year, just filling in the odd game.
