The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

    Here's looking at you, kid.

Oracle you keep talking about releasing SKD but it would mean we would still be paying probably 75% of his contract at another club much like Penrith paying Jennings. His deal is already back ended as we take over full payments soon. Sonny and Mini leaving will help top up our young talent. We did an awesome job recruiting quality human beings and the reward is there for all to see. I'd hate for us to go backwards and sign big name players with chequered pasts just because there talented
Try and imagine Ferguson and Inglis in the same team. It scares the shit out of me to be quite honest.

        Almost as scary as SBW.

Twice the players, still not equal the talent.

So your willing to throw away all the good work the club has done changing our culture on a bloke who hasn't proven he is no longer an a grade muppet off the field as yet and has shown glimpses of being a very good centre on his day potentially a match winner?

I think the point is, Souths need him more than us, and he will make the important difference to their title aspirations. Blake is potentially the most damaging attacking player in the NRL and that's what they lacked last season. We don't really need Blake in 2014 but he would come in handy as a potential fullback if mini retired in 2015 and as a marquee signing when SBW eventually moves on.

They had Greg Inglis last year and he is a better player then Fergo.

When Sonny leaves RTS will have had 3 seasons in the top grade and will surpass Fergo talent wise. He will provide us with our x-factor along with the likes of Evans Jennings and hopefully Moga.

Some of you clowns are hilarious! Shaking in your boots at the mere thought of Ferguson playing for Souths. Seriously get a grip FFS you're grown men! It's downright embarrassing how some of you are carrying on under the guise of not wanting South to be successful. I really think some of you need to reassess your emotional attachment to this game, it's just not healthy.

                  Best post ever.

I've said it before, but this Souffs obsession many have, is more SouffsLike than Souffs fans are.

                  The irony is very amusing/embarrassing.

                  IMO of course.

Can't wait to see us win our 3rd WCC while Souffs win their Charity Shield.

                  The FlogPen .

                  You know it makes sense.

That's a bit harsh, whilst we are the competition favourites, we do have a right to look over our shoulder and eye up the competition, especially when it's our arch rival who we do love to hate.

Exactly the point I was highlighting in regards to Ferguson joining lol@souffs.
I'm over the whole Ferguson replacing SKD; I'm resigned to the presumption he won't be with us. The last club that I wanted him at though was lol@souffs.

On the LOD signing, I hope it gets done. I think we need him for at least 1 more year before Nappa can take over his role. I'd love to see Nappa maybe spend a couple of weeks on the sideline next year after giving a few opponents what for
Rooboy, what i got told today is -
Souffs will sign Fergo but only once he accepts & commits to Fatso's 10 or so conditions relating to behaviour etc...
Souffs officials are filthy with their star recruit Inglis because he opted to tour instead of accepting their request to stay home &
rehabilitate the troublesome knee. Also, the indigeneous culture @ Souffs appeals to Fergo however Inglis wont be particularly pleased if he signs on because he enjoys being top dog and doesn't want to share the spotlight.
Once the WCup is over expect Souffs to announce the signing of Glen Fisiiahi and one other (don't know if that one other is Fergo
                          OR a totally different player).

If all that's true Souffs will have a great backline next year. The part about Inglis and Ferguson I like though, if he's already going to feel unwelcome by Souffs best player he wont go a month before ****ing up again.

The speed and try scoring prowess of this backline would give any team a run for their money though.

                            Inglis
                            Merritt lol
                            Walker
                            Fergo
                            Fisiiahi

Flashy but need go forward and decent halves to show their wares, and I think the burgess boys' novelty has worn off and they won't enjoy the run they had this year.
