what do you mean ? him getting up off a tackled player in less than 3 hours is quite impressive and worthy of a package....oh hang on.... there isn't enough space for a video that large on the sydney roosters official website.

Looks like we have lost Kennedy (Broncos), Ailaomai (Dragons), Henry (Bradford), Bosden (Wests Illawarra) and Seluini (unconfirmed) but we have signed Casty (Catalans), Seru (Dragons), Reuben (Raiders), Taukeiaho (Warriors) and L'Estrange (Bradford) as replacements.

          Also confirms Hastings.

Cherry on top would be to hold on to Minichiello (one more season), O'Donnell (one more season - two is asking a bit much), and a report on whether we are keeping big bopper Isaac Liu!

          Minichiello
          RTS
          SKD
          Jennings
          Tupou
          Maloney
          Pearce
          JWH
          Friend
          FPN
          Guerra
          SBW
          Cordner

          Mortimer
          Maubs
          Moa
          LOD

Reserve props: Evans, Liu, Casty (Kennedy gone), Seru (Ailaomai gone)
Reserve backs: Reuben (Henry gone), Moga, Oldfield, Wells
Reserve halves/hookers: Hastings, L'Estrange (Seluini gone)
Reserve backrowers: Arona, Napa, Taukeiaho (Bosden gone)

EDIT: confirmed Taukeiaho and Bosden. Cheers Horry!

Starting 17 is near unbeatable but genuine depth looks to a problem.

On the contrary, I think our depth is far better than last season.

Props/ backrowers : A more experienced napa in the reserves, Casty who has been a regular in the ESL and brings plenty of experience and toughness.Evans who can only get better, Liu who has also been strong last season. A couple of young players with untapped potential in Seru and Taukeiaho as well. They both could be anything.

The backs look good too. Wells had a good season in Newtown last season at fb, and can play wing. J.Reuben is a highly regarded player from the raiders and has scored plenty of trys last season and has good pace. Moga is on the mend from an injury.

Our halves look good with young Hastings, whom the merge fans are spewing about him leaving, and heath l'estrange who is a seasoned campaigner and has done a good job in the past.

Henry, Seluini had poor season last year, supermegabosden has been injured and ailaomai never reached his true potential. The only regular we lost is mlk and his loss will not be felt too much.

And that's the beauty of our team at the moment. Not just SBW, but most of our squad have shown over the past season that they can be proficient at a number of positions. Robbo made sure they had exposure to playing different roles. In my opinion Guerra is an NRL standard centre or lock, even though he's an out and out edge backrower. SKD proved that he can be very reliable on the wing. Cordner would be starting lock in most teams even though he's obviously an edge player. Mortimer performed well at hooker and in the halves. SBW is obviously good enough in the halves to play their full time if he needed/wanted to. Nuuausala was devastating in the weeks he was switched to prop. Aubbo played well filling in at centre and lock for short periods.

This is what gives us good depth. The backup players mentioned will probably get a run at different stages, and I'm sure Robbo will have them ready to do a great job, but it's the players already in that top 20 or so group that gives us such flexibility and subsequently great depth should injuries hit.

I agree with you davos, we will be stronger next year. I believe everyone in our squad with the only exception of Mini and LOD due to their age (we just need those two to produce exactly what they did this year, again for next year), have the scope to improve further next year.

We have only lost one player of real note in Kennedy, who is replaceable. Seluini, Henry, Bosden and Ailaomai will not be missed. Casty, Hastings, Reuben, Stranger, Seru and Taukeiaho are all handy signings. Robbo has strengthened our roster.

Moga is the wild card. If he can finally stay injury free, he can be something really special for us!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                            Here's looking at you, kid.

The important thing is not just to be stronger but to be better and a bit different.
I think we will on all counts.
