There's an article in today's Murdoch propaganda sheet about how lucky Jennings is that he is in the UK playing for Australia instead of facing the full wrath of Australian law for not driving with his P plates on. In it the following observation was made:
"Will luck again be on Jennings' side like it also was for that miracle try in the grand final - when James Maloney's kick looked to be going dead for all money until it paused at the last split second and guess who was waiting for it?"
I don't know about you guys, but I didn't realise that Maloney's kick "paused" like that. I thought Jennings used blinding speed and freakish skill to get to the ball and ground it. But no, the ball defied Newtonian physics and Jennings, who just happened to be in the right place at the right time "waiting for it", was gifted this lucky try.
