  • Jennings "lucky" Grand Final try

There's an article in today's Murdoch propaganda sheet about how lucky Jennings is that he is in the UK playing for Australia instead of facing the full wrath of Australian law for not driving with his P plates on. In it the following observation was made:

"Will luck again be on Jennings' side like it also was for that miracle try in the grand final - when James Maloney's kick looked to be going dead for all money until it paused at the last split second and guess who was waiting for it?"

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't realise that Maloney's kick "paused" like that. I thought Jennings used blinding speed and freakish skill to get to the ball and ground it. But no, the ball defied Newtonian physics and Jennings, who just happened to be in the right place at the right time "waiting for it", was gifted this lucky try.

They're just small minded irrelevant people with an axe to grind trying to get a bite.

Who cares what anyone who writes for that piece of crap thinks?

I've got a yoghurt in my fridge that has a use by date of today - that's causing me more stress than anything those dickheads write.

I thought Jennings was flying over the limit in a 60km zone at that try in ANZ . He should be booked IMO.

Jennings has been really lucky on quite a few occasions. Didn't he score a similar one against the Dragons?

I don't buy any of their papers mainly due I read them online but what's the point of 'boycotting'?...you think that Murdoch is going to all of a sudden call his editors to ensure that we have a fairer coverage? If you don't like it, either don't read it or just have a good laugh.

Maloney's the lucky one, Jennings is just a freak when it comes to scoring tries.

Yeah mate we could use a freak in the centres to score tries in the UK at the moment, in the Aussie side.
