We are, have always been and must remain in the Eastern Suburbs.

Just the thought of my club relocating brings a tear to my eyes.

The only place they will relocate to is back to the Old Millers pub in Oxford Street, up the Jungo.(if only it were there)

There are obvious benefits with the $8 million and a massive junior base. BUT this club is a foundation club and has represented the Eastern Suburbs for over 100 years. Over this time, many people have put their hearts and soul into this organisation, whether it's fans who pour their money into the club, past and present players who have worn the jersey and built the reputation we have today or the many coaches and officials involved who have marketed this club to be one of the most successful rugby league clubs in the world, this simply can not be given up for a few short-term bucks. The Roosters should always be associated with the Eastern Suburbs.

I just don't understand that people don't get the bleeding obvious !!!.
What ELO says is so obvious, the CC do not want a relocated second hand team, they want their own team.

Any team that relocates, epsecially any team in trouble (and face it what club would relocate of they were not) would go to the wall within a could of years.


As an aside I think that relocations, expansions etc etc etc are the biggest load of bullshit and one of the biggest problems in RL. For me the problems in the game started when teams outside Sydney started joining the competition, especially Brisbane.

Why don't they just join Roosters and South Sydney. I mean at first there would most likely be a big uproar but in time everything would settle down and be fine. Central Coast, Hell no its far away out of Sydney.

I cant say I would like it, but I can see the advantages and disadvantages.....and know that I would still be there regarless of what happened.....except as someone already said....MERGE.....now that would be a hell NO..........
