If we relocate.I dont know what I would do.My 1st reaction would be to walk away. However I know in my heart that when I saw Central Coast Roosters run out onto the field and playing with the red white blue jumper that is /was Eastern Suburbs.I could niot help but support them.

I hope it never comes to that

Hey Chook, with all due respect I refer you to the book "From Where the sun rises" Page 105 Staying within the boundaries.
You will find that the reference is to the boundaries being aletred during the 20's due to St George entering the comp, and then again in the 30's, when part of East's area was given to Souths.

      Cheers.

                best options in order.
1/ Remain as we are for at least another 100 years.

2/ merge with souffs, and call ourselves the "Eastern Suburbs Roosters" , with the vermin replacing newtown as reserve grade.

3/ Move to Toowoomba so I can go to every home game.

Unless Nick Politis relocates himself (and pretty soon) we'll probably have to. Or fold.

Can't he be more involved in, I don't know, soccer or something?

I lost my Steelers to St. George in a so-called merger. It was actually a takeover so that Saints would collect millions, whilst not passing GO or going to jail! the only reason they made the GF quickly was the Steeler's star players such as Fitzy, MacGregor, Wishart,Barrett etc.
I have never forgiven them or got over it. Not the players personally, but the Saint's club.
I came to the Roosters because they were my childhood team and I was thrilled that Fitzy had decided to play with them.
I could not go through another merger, and I could not get to games on the Central Coast.
I would support the Roosters and watch them on tv but would have to take to the grog to keep myself going.

BTW, past glory, North Sydney Oval is my favourite footie ground. Atmosphere and ghosts just like the SCG.
