The Kiwis have fresh injury concerns ahead of the Rugby League World Cup final with Forwards Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Frank-Paul Nu'uausala in doubt.
Waerea-Hargreaves Nu'uausala took a limited part in their training run near Manchester overnight.
Nu'uausala didn't run with the team as he waits for a shin injury to settle down while coach Stephen Kearney is playing down Waerea-Hargreave's neck injury.
"When you carry around a head the size of Jared then at some stage you're going to get a bit of a sore neck," Kearney joked.
"He'll be fine, you know, he was bouncing around, swinging his head around like he was a clown at the fair."
Wingers Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Manu Vatuvei along with second-rower Frank Pritchard still need to prove their fitness for Sunday's showdown with the Kangaroos.
