Roosters
Teams they play twice: Rabbitohs, Eels, Sea Eagles, Bulldogs, Sharks, Dragons, Tigers, Storm, Knights
Thursday night games (1-20): 1
Friday night games (1-20): 8
Saturday games (1-20): 8
Sunday games (1-20): 1
Summary: Round 4 is the date set for the grand final replay against Manly. Have only one Sunday game which is against Melbourne in round 13. Only have to board a plane four times to travel to a game over the course of the year, with their travel schedule almost evenly spread out. While they face the Rabbitohs in round 1, they will have to wait until round 26 to do battle again. Byes in round 15 and 18.

This might be a bit paranoid, but is anyone disappointed we got the eels, probably the weakest team going into 2014, so early? Because we ourselves will probably be a bit underdone, and dropping a match like that could be harmful in terms of positions at the back end of the season?
Or could it be looked at as a positive, considering its unlikely complacency will be an issue so early in the season, and we will be firing after our first hit out?

ROOSTERS
The premiers play at home just three times in the first seven weeks – but at least get to host the World Club Challenge in 2014, lessening the usual impact of travel for the NRL champions. They face a potential nightmare run in the middle of the season where they'll be without their Origin stars for matches against the Bulldogs, Knights and Sharks, but have a great run home with six of their final nine games at Allianz Stadium. They'll get a couple of good tests ahead of the finals as well with match-ups against the Storm and Rabbitohs in Round 25 and 26
