    Gold.

And many thought Maubs wouldn't make the squad in 2013. All the SuperMegaResherveGraders were gonna leave him in their dust.

Just does the little things without fanfare. Pays off when he is the top tryscorer at the club in the forwards.

A bloke everyone likes playing with.

    A true Club Man.

    The FlogPen .

    You know it makes sense.

HERE IS SOME NEWS FROM THE BLUE BAGS

Chris Taripo, who had a great 2013 Rugby League World Cup campaign with the Cook Islands Kukis, is back training with the Jets along with perennial Henson Park crowd favourite Ryan "The Rhino" Verlinden.
Kurt Kara and Saulala Houma have won themselves full-time summer training contracts with the Sydney Roosters.
Players who have graduated from the Sydney Roosters 2013 Holden Cup squad (Under 20’s) and who will be available for Newtown Jets selection in 2014 include dynamic five-eighth and lock Samisoni Langi (who played with Newtown in 2013 and who had a big World Cup with the Tongan squad); lock and second-rower Shaquille Blair; lock Jack Noble; second-rower Jack Seijka; second-rower Rhyse Martin (who has already played with Newtown); and front-rower Brandon Tago

                  Re: roosters training ground

I've noticed over the past few weeks that the training field at Moore Park is undergoing some work, looks like they may be extending the training field ? ....sure hope so.
I've never understood how the team fully trains on that area which is only about the third the size of a full field. The Swans have a full field to train on next door, the waratahs also train on that same big field .... but the Roosters train on that squibby little field next to the lake.
Certainly hope the work being done to the grassed area is to expand their training field to a decent size ?

Yeh in the clubs strategic plan they listed a full field training ground as a goal.
