The word passé is rather passé in itself.

          So what is your suggestion???

Last year didnt that last round attract a record crowd???

The two original rivals to start and finish the year, I can't see what would top that.

          It's an evil conspiracy.

          The FlogPen .

          You know it makes sense.

I can't see any other clash being more important to us as fans and the game in general.

                    Traditional bitter rivals.

Both with very competitive squads coming off successful seasons.

What could be a better way to start and end a season???

I think the only down side to it being the opening match, is that there is no form on the board. Rd 5 would be good.

but it is a promoters dream to have such a rivalry with quality teams opening the season.

                      Better than raiders v titans.

                          Exactly minja.

                          Promoters dream.

We should be stoked we feature so prominently in the promotion of the game.

Round 1 is never the GF replay.

I have no worries if its locked in every season, traditional rivals first and last rounds.

Can't see a problem with that piece of scheduling.

Apparently the Roosters have specifically requested to the NRL/broadcasters to give them more Sunday games in the last 5-6 rounds, as they feel it is the best way to attract more fans to home games.

I think we would definitely benefit from a few day games, allows us to throw the ball around more in more favourable conditions

The NRL will most likely give us 5-6 Monday night games now. Or they may prefer to go Saturday night to Monday night, back to Saturday night, and keep doing that to give us as many short turnarounds as possible. Guaranteed that $ouff$ will be well and truly looked after just like last year, and be given all Friday night games and make sure they come up against as many teams as possible with a short turnaround. The NRL will certainly make sure that we will be given at least one Sunday day game, and that will be the week before playing $ouff$, so that we are given a short turnaround to disadvantage us, just like they did to us last year!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                                Here's looking at you, kid.
