Of course if individuals have moved away from the clubs instructions that's another story.

I will have a schooner on it with you Brainiac.

Reality -they all new what they were doing .The story? we didnt know what we were doing as instructed by lawyers. They have been coached .
They all know . Very few wouldve been in the dark may be a couple of young naive ones but thats about it.

      Here's an idea.

Central Coast Sharks become a 'new' franchise and take part of Newcastle's unfairly large junior territory (and possibly some of Manly's). St George takes Cronulla's territory and forfeit some of theirs (bordering Botany Bay), to Souths. Souths return to us all of east-of-Anzac, up to say Matto (while retaining Southern-Eastern and Lapa.).

      Job's a good 'un.

        Does territory even matter anymore?

I think so, particularly from a marketing/business perspective.

If, say, Maroubra and surrounds became Easts, and with that came a saturation of the Roosters brand, within 15 years we'd see a growth in the fan base (and membership), greater than the current growth percentage.

Interstate and overseas arrivals would choose their local side. Kids playing for their local team would be exposed to The Club. Neutrals would choose a side, and their kids would become die-hards.

Then there's the benefit of raising (and selling) local talent.

this. we will lose a couple of these prospects if we go buy big money signing, ide rather keep all our juniors

If given the option I would rather see us sign up Jason Taumalolo, who I think would be a great signing to replace SBW and would come considerably cheaper than Fajita.
Moving Evans & Napa to the backrow is just solving one problem by creating another. We've already got strong players who can cover the edges & lock position with some very promising players coming through.

Fifita would be a luxury purchase, he's not needed for any future success imo. Our go forward game is already good enough, when Sonny leaves we either need to purchase or work hard on developing some more attacking options who will come up big for us when it matters like SBW did so often this year. Our go forward is not an issue afaic.

We've lost Kennedy and LOD. Moa is only signed until next year I beleive and there is no guarantee he will play on.
Our young front rowers have potential but have not proven anything yet and could be a few years away from being quality props. JWH has indicated that he may go back to union after his contract finishes. If Fafita is available for 2015 I'd take him especially if Moa doesn't re-sign.

I expect Tigers to undo some of their stupidity and get Fifita back.
