Just watched the grand final again. You know that he is a player that has the potential to lose you as many games as he wins you but that was one of the most courageous games that i have seen from a player. You can play on with an injury like that but the pain wears you down with every hit you take and for him to score that try was a great effort as it came in the second half after he had been playing with the busted jaw for a good 40 mins or so.Somebody at the club will have a hard decision to make at the end of the season.Sign him again or let him go? Thoughts?

wait till he is injury free and see how he goes in a settled team.

If he attracts big money, I say let him go and find someone with a bigger calibre. Or even if tau tau develops into a superstar. But as mentioned above, let's see him injury free and then review his performances.

I'll get shot down here but I strongly believe it doesn't suit SKD's attack to be playing outside SBW. He's never going to be a centre who can comfortable run off an around the corner flick pass, and if I am a halfback and I look up and see SBW or SKD I am more inclined to go to SBW.

He grew a lot with his defence last year and I think he responded well and mature when things weren't going his way. Including some really good performance when he was shifted between centre, wing, centre over that period when RTS etc were out.

SKDs best position is left wing, he scored plenty of points in that position.

He didn't cost us many last year, especially by the start of the second round, the coaching staff had his defence working a lot better, and his reading the play , a lot more switched on as well. If he can get over the mental aspect of his injury, and start the season well, it could well be a stellar season for him, given his overall improvement last season, but the club needs to take time to assess if he is worth retaining at big dollars, or maybe looking in another direction, but I have total faith in Trent and his staff, to work that out.

He only cost us one game - vs the Warriors @ the SFS.

In the recent lot of photos taken of the boys in pre season training seen here http://www.roosters.com.au/photogall...ng-Week-9/6431 , in photo 27 you can see that SKD is far too skinny! I know he would have lost some weight due to his broken jaw, but I certainly hope that he starts to bulk up before round 1 comes around! Being that skinny he will have no power, he struggled enough as it was last year to break through tackles and has a history of ordinary defense, so at that light weight he will only struggle even more.

If SKD has just another average season this year like he did for the first 3/4 of last year along with 2011 and 2012, plus if Moga is back injury free and tearing it up, I would be inclined to let SKD go at the end of this season.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                  Here's looking at you, kid.

And the grand final? When any other player would have gone off, leaving us to play a second rower in the centres and one down on the interchange, SKD bravely plays on, allowing us to capture the premiership.

He's a legend. Should be a one club player

I've said it before but **** me it still astounds me the love for SKD. Do most of you watch the games with your eyes shut??? Oops actually I do when SKD has the ball. He is a liability on a decent whack of money. Just my opinion but I can tell you every week the other members around me feel the same, I must just be unlucky/lucky who I sit near as there is plenty of love on here for him
