You would think that most of the 17 that Robbo has in mind playing in the WCC, will skip the 9's and be playing in that trial vs the knights in preparation for the WCC.

Yak, are you planning on making the trip up to Wyong, wouldn't be a proper off season without one of your trial game write-ups.

Oracle, I live 3 mins from the oval, and it is now in tip top condition, since Wyong got promoted into the NSW Cup, it looks a picture. I will be attending the trial game on Sat 15th of Feb, so if any Chookpen members are coming up, we'll set up a meeting time & place, to watch the game, and have a beer.

Reports today Mini won't rule out this being his final season.

I hope Newman takes the news better than he has in the past.

It says on there that it is NSW and NYC games being played on the 15th Feb at Wyong with no mention of 1st grade. I wonder if any of our best 17 will be playing that day?

That is a relief BR! I watched the Jets play Wyong at Wyong last year and that particular surface was very ordinary! I know that there are a few grounds next to each other there so hopefully they will play this trial on the best one.

This will definitely be his last playing season, but I'am sure the club will employ him in some capacity, in the front office, ie, marketing, public relations, etc,etc, he is too good a clubman to let leave the family.
