This is how it seems to be looking:
1. Carney
2. Perrett
3. Graham
4. Williamson
5. Miniciello
6. Anasta (c)
7. Pearce
8. FPN
9. Friend
10. Ryles
11. Myles
12. Symonds
13. Maubs
14. Paea
15. Mason
16. JWH
17. Jones
From the players we seem to have, this is the best I can muster and imo, a nice balance actaully. I think mase and paea off the bench are key - experience! with JWH and Jones for flair, spark and impact.
Maubs to be the tradesman at lock with symonds as the wide-running dynamo and myles doing plenty of work and getting stuck in playing a little closer to the ruck as a third prop. Carney to play a gidley role from fullback with braith in his best position - 5/8. Graham and perrett down the left interchanging with williamson to play inside mini - we need one youngster to slot into that backline and for me, williamson is the man that should get the thumbs up

Intriguing times indeed
Noyce comes out on 2SM and trots out exactly the same line as he did a week ago
I just heard Danny Weidler on 2ue with John Gibbs and Greg Alexander
Weidler claims he was told by Willie Mason today that in a weeks time Mason will be taking a 10 day trip to Japan and will be speaking too a couple of rugby clubs including Kobe Steelers and Sanyo
Yet when asked whether he would be playing in the NRL next season?
Mason said "Yes"
But didn't say it will be with the Roosters
Apparently Mason is rumoured to be going to St Merge although Doust has denied when asked today.
Weidler also said the Ryles deal is %90 certain and is not dependent on Mason leaving.
Even Willie seems confused

Mason knows that they'd turn it around to sell papers, so he probably just doesn't give a stuff about the papers or their responses..

Willie Mason denies Sydney Roosters $100,000 offer to quit
Controversial Sydney Roosters forward Willie Mason has denied he was offered a payout to quit the embattled NRL club.
Speculation has been rife the former Test star is on the outer at the Roosters, who sacked coach Brad Fittler this season and replaced him with disciplinarian Brian Smith from 2010 following a spate of off-field dramas and a wooden spoon season.
Reports have suggested Mason was offered $100,000 to walk from the final year of his contract and manager Greg Keenan has been shopping him to rugby union clubs in Japan and Europe.
"I have not been offered a payout to leave the Roosters," Mason said in a statement.
"I have a contract with the Roosters and I will be playing in the NRL next season."
A report has said Mason was expected to head to Japan in the coming weeks to meet rugby clubs including Kobe and Sanyo.
It said there was also interest in Mason from European rugby clubs.
Meanwhile, St George Illawarra have confirmed Papua New Guinea coach Adrian Lam will be the Dragons' under-20s mentor in 2010.
Lam joins the Dragons from the Roosters, where the former PNG, Queensland, Roosters and Wigan halfback was an assistant to former boss Fittler for the past two seasons.
He replaces Steve Price, who will now be head coach Wayne Bennett's assistant with the Dragons' NRL side.
Fiji coach Terry Gilogley will be in charge of Dragons feeder side Shellharbour City.Rise Again. Represent 1908. Tick Tick Boom!

weedler can flog himself over sonny dill and mundane, mason will be here this season, next season he will be in Japan taking a well deserved retirement payout.
