weedler can flog himself over sonny dill and mundane, mason will be here this season, next season he will be in Japan taking a well deserved retirement payout.
He's as deserving of a big retirement payout as Telstra Sol.

"Dean, you state at 12:36 - “I think if you read the story carefully, it said the Roosters board had given permission for Mason to go.”
But the story at the top of the page says:
“The argy bargy over Willie Mason’s imminent sacking..”
So has he been given permission to go or is he being sacked? I am confused as you say 2 differnet things.

It’s not hard mate. If another club comes along he will go. If they don’t he will stay. Simple. "
He doesn't address the issue...all vague sidestepping of the actual question..
The Tell-U-Crap has less credibility now than any other year in it's history...& that is saying something

Willie Mason staying with Roosters; Brian Smith offers him fresh slate
From staff writers
October 28, 2009
Sydney Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce says controversial forward Willie Mason is going nowhere and will see out the remainder of his contract with the club.
The 29-year-old Mason, who is entering the final season of a three-year deal, has endured a difficult two seasons with the Roosters but incoming coach Brian Smith has offered him a fresh slate.
He has been considering chasing offers from Japanese rugby, following reports he was unwanted at Bondi Junction.

No Eleroy, contracts don't mean a thing nowdays.
How do you reckon we ended up with Willie Wanka in the first place??
I don't blame Sam for wanting out of the Roosters if he believes that there will be no improvement in discipline and behavour.
The actions of some players sully the reputations of all involved in a Club. And Sam is one individual who doesn't deserve that.
