Remember we went through this whole circus when the bloke was signed - there were denial upon denial and then all of a sudden he was arriving
Hopefully this will turn out the same, denial upon denial and then he pisses off, suddenly. I don't expect him to go quietly cause that would be asking too much - the bloke is'nt capable of it.

Mason gave us value last year before he done his knee. This year was'nt much to write home about.
I'd be curious to see if he performed under Smith's coaching, but if not it ain't the end of the world.
Mind you, one of the more annoying aspects of the modern game is the value of a contract.

So Mason wasn't invited to the player induction for today....the club really doesn't want the guy around, seriously just pay him out so we can move past this, ffs.
While Tuqiri and the Tigers insist a deal is yet to be struck, speculation is set to continue about the future of Willie Mason, given he has been excused from attending the Sydney Roosters' induction camp on Friday.
Chief executive Steve Noyce confirmed coach Brian Smith had told Mason he would not be required to join his teammates at the Roosters' eastern suburbs headquarters. Noyce declined to reveal the reason for the decision.
But Mason is believed to be preparing for a trip to Japan where he will meet interested rugby union clubs, most notably the Sanyo Wild Knights. Sanyo is looking at Mason as a potential replacement for former Wallaby Daniel Heenan.Last edited by elo; 10-30-2009, 07:21 AM.
