  • Message to POS. Taumalolo 2015

You all know it... Would be a nice replacement for SBW! I like this kid and would love to see him in the RWB..

Wouldn't be sad although I think he will be more like FPN than SBW

We'll 'replace' Sonny in house, don't need to spend money on young talent when we've got our own.

Both Langi & Meehan are top prospects. With Guerra, Cordner & Maubs as the 3 main options we'll be fine.

It's the points SBW provides that we'll sorely miss, his ability to come up big when we need it most and on the biggest stages. Here's hoping RTS develops into that type of player at fullback.

Yes, even with SBW moving on, we are pretty well off for the engine room now, we need to be looking for a classy centre for next season, either established, or up and coming, although, the 2014 form of SKD and Moga, will decide just how much we need one.

Don't be surprised if RTS plays in the centres during SOO.

They didn't buy Hastings to play too many games at Henson.

                  Forget Taumalolo

                  he's no SBW

Don't need him, we have plenty to choose from in our own backyard

I like what I've seen from Hastings, If we are doing well early he may become a regular. I hope so with the possiblity of Morts being snapped up at season end!

I have just finished looking at Zero Tackle's list of players off contract at the end of 2014, and truthfully, there is not a lot of cream in the names listed, especially ones we may be interested in. So our recruiting for 2015 and beyond needs to be carefully managed, so we don't end up with fill ins, we cant get rid of, if better players come on the market

I doubt he'll play at Henson next year, hes only 18. Will play in the halves for the 20s and possibly get some first grade experience during SOO. Can see him playing a utility role off the bench in place of Mortimer beyond that. There's no way the club would be rating him over RTS this early in his career as to try and mould RTS into a centre and in turn blocking Moga and Milne's path to First Grade.

Hastings will be developed as a half.

All things aside, Taumalolo is a great talent and we owe the Cows for all our stolen youth..

You can't argue that Taumalolo is a tremendous talent, possessing loads of power and he is only 20yrs old. If we can get him, get him. I was calling for his signing back in August or September last year and nothing has changed my mind.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                            Here's looking at you, kid.

Just FYI, I have it on good authority that the club did enquire about Taumalolo's signature, however they were very quick to say he was going no where.

(From the same source that told me Jennings had signed)
